Lead Organizer
Greater Los Angeles · Part-time, 25–35 hrs/week
A Note From Lili
Clutter Healing® is growing — and growing fast. We’re building a highly-selective team of organizers to bring clutter healing to homes across greater Los Angeles, with our sights set on a worldwide presence. This isn’t a role for someone looking to punch a clock. We’re looking for people who want to grow with this company, not just work for it.
At Clutter Healing, we believe every decision we make carries an energetic frequency, and our homes are a physical expression of our actions and beliefs. We don’t just help people get organized — we teach them to be organized, through compassionate education, non-judgmental space holding, conscious consuming, and a commitment to non-toxic, sustainable solutions. If that philosophy speaks to you, keep reading.
About the Role
The Lead Organizer is not a delegate-only position. You’ll be in the work — organizing side-by-side with our team while directing the vision, pace and execution of every project. You are the main stylist on each job, responsible for everything from container selection to final placement, making sure the finished space feels cohesive, elevated and unmistakably the Clutter Healing vision.
You’ll guide clients through the editing and organizing process with warmth and steadiness: categorizing, decluttering, space planning, organizing and styling, all while ensuring the client experience — start to finish — reflects our brand standards. Some days you’ll be working in a beautifully appointed home. Other days you’ll be helping a family move from chaos to clarity, holding space for clients who find it hard to let go. You should feel just as confident in a luxury estate as in a home that needs real systems, decluttering and compassion.
At Clutter Healing, no one is above the work. If donations need to be dropped off, supplies need to be hauled, or the trash needs to be taken out — you step in. Leadership here means rolling up your sleeves and setting the tone for the room.
This role also includes preparation and follow-through beyond the in-home client sessions: product research and ordering, shopping and returns, donation drop-offs, client-related errands, and daily client updates. Off-site hours should be expected as part of the weekly work.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and organize alongside the team — categorizing, decluttering, space planning and styling
- Serve as lead stylist, ensuring every space feels refined, intentional and complete
- Own the on-site client experience from arrival to final walkthrough
- Source, order and pick up products; manage returns and donation drop-offs
- Communicate daily project updates with clarity and professionalism
- Pivot gracefully when schedules or client needs shift mid-project
Who We’re Looking For
- Handles themselves with composure, grace, and discretion — comfortable working with high-profile clients who need their privacy respected
- A can-do, positive attitude paired with genuine hardworking energy — able to sustain a 7–8 hour shift at full capacity
- Teachable, focused and self-motivated
- A spatial/visual learner who sees how to maximize a space where others don’t
- Excellent time management — able to prioritize and complete tasks within a set window
- Sharp short-term memory and listening skills
- Proactive by nature — always anticipating what the project needs
- Thrives under pressure
- Comfortable with everyday tech — iPhone, Mac, Google, and photo/note apps
- Seeking a long-term role, not a side hustle
- Genuinely excited about helping people live a clutter-free life
- Passionate about zero-waste and eco-friendly living
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for the majority of the day, climb stairs, use a ladder and work comfortably in hot or cold conditions
- Reliable, punctual and steadfast — first to arrive, last to leave
- Licensed driver with a reliable, presentable SUV and up-to-date insurance and registration. Traffic-savvy navigating the greater Los Angeles area
- No allergies to pets, dust or fragrance
- Previous professional organizing experience required (minimum 2 years); background in hospitality, fashion, merchandising, events, or home styling is a strong plus
- Currently does not own or operate an organizing company, and does not work for another organizing company
Schedule & Availability
- Part-time, averaging 25–35 hours per week
- Availability required Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (you will not be booked the full window every week)
- Available for at least one Saturday per month, as needed
- Able to travel out of state for projects when required
- Available for a monthly virtual team meeting, Tuesdays at 5pm PT
A sample week might include client sessions, product sourcing and pick-ups, design and measuring appointments and administrative follow-through from home.
Additional Requirements
- Highly organized and systems-minded, with strong leadership and coordination skills
- Design-forward, with a styling eye that can envision elevated results beyond the basics
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable being featured on the CH website and social media
Compensation commensurate with experience; drive fees and mileage included as part of the daily package.
